Hungry? Whether you’re craving knowledge about becoming eco-friendly or you actually are starving for a delicious recipe for vegetable pie with zucchini crust…look no more. Today’s post centers on bloggers who bring valuable information to their readers. Recipes, book reviews, going green, retirement advice, and beautiful photography blogs are all featured to satisfy your appetite for better living.

Simply Recipes– Elise Bauer created and maintains this wonderful blog. Complete with gorgeous photography, this site has easy to follow recipes that I’m sure you’ll be able to appreciate. Check out the recipes for steak teriyaki and blueberry cake.

For the Love of Cooking– This blog is the creation of “Pam” and you’ll see she has a passion for cooking. The recipes seem easy to follow and the photography is eye-catching as well.

Eco-Street– Sisters Tracy Stokes and Nikki Algar started this blog to help inform people about green consciousness. They want it to be easier for people to acquire green products and services, so their website highlights product reviews, giveaways, events, articles, and advice. Eco-Street allows a search option by topic and the overall tone of the website is informative and friendly. For example, check out their post called Low-energy bulbs like you’ve never seen them before.

Consumer Boomer– Who doesn’t want to learn about ways to be financially secure? This website posts advice about smart retirement planning, like tapping into your 401k without also having a penalty thrown your way. No penalties please!

Jao’s Photo Lab– This site showcases stunning photography by Jao. Most of his photography is of the great outdoors. Here’s a magnificent example of his work…Goosenecks State Park, Utah.

Earth Shots -Earth Shots features photographs from all over the world. They have a “Photo of the Day” contest celebrating the diverse splendor of our blue orb. Get your favorite shot of Mother Earth and submit!

Watts Up With That– Science news and information is brought to you by Anthony Watts. You may or may not agree with him, but his blog is interesting and so is his bio.

Carina Press– This is a new blog for Carina Press and it is frequently updated by the acquisitions team, editors, and authors. The entertaining blog provides readers and writers with an inside look at the new e-publishing company.

Barding Well– This blog is maintained by Lyn Bardwell, a senior in the Professional and Technical Writing and Editing program at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Lyn speaks about web content management, blogging tips, and she reviews books like Still Alice by Lisa Genova.

helluo librorum-Book reviews, fiction discussions, and author interviews are all found at this blog by dark fantasy and horror author Teresa Frohock.
